Storm at Jack Scout

 The forecast yesterday was for a predominately dry day, and the motorbike is due it's MOT early next week. So once I'd put the battery back on and given it a through check over I thought it best to give it a short run out....within the current rules?...I don't know! Anyway I decided to make the short ride to Jack Scout (Jenny Browns Point) and have a short walk. The bike was great, but the walk was cut short due to the incredibly fierce wind. Hopefully the video will convey some of that.

Heversham Head

 Late last week I took advantage of the unseasonal weather to use my daily exercise for a walk to Heversham Head. This is pretty much at the limit of my range from home, the round trip being in the region of 15 miles. Quiet lanes and footpaths led me to the start of the climb at Heversham Church. The return was made via Hincaster and the Lancaster Canal.

The Arnside Bore....Not Me Hopefully!

 Earlier this week I walked over to Arnside...again! I was determined to see the tidal bore, and indeed I saw the event, it was 10.40m tide so the tide certainly rushed in and filled the estuary. Having seen the main event I walked along the coast to the mouth of the River Bela. I then walked back home through Dallam Park and the quiet lanes I now know so well.

The Arnside Riviera

 On Sunday I walked the well worn route I've used on many occasions during the current bout of restrictions to Arnside. the forecast was spot on and I was treated to a wonderful early Spring day. I managed to miss the tidal bore, but walked the coast path to Far Arnside in the superb conditions. Hopefully the video will show just how great was.

Deepdale, Leighton Moss & Trowbarrow

 This was last Friday's walk, and a very similar route to the walk I did on the 11th February. I enjoyed it then and decided to do pretty much the same again...but to film it this time. The weather was great and if anything It's a walk full of interest and hope I've managed to convey some of this in the video.
