Catching Up...Again!

The "lockdown" continues, and so does my exercise. Today (10th June 2020), was the 81st day of my social/physical distancing, I have managed to have either a walk of cycle on all of those days...sometimes more than one since the rules were relaxed!
I either don't always carry a camera (except my phone!) or simply don't take any pictures. Below is a selection of some that I have taken....

Tues 26th May and a walk from nr Eaves Wood, Silverdale.
The ruin of Arnside Tower.

The Pepper Pot a grand viewpoint in Eaves Wood

Friday 29th May I had a ride up to Elterwater Common on the motorbike.
I had lunch on a favourite seat and enjoyed the view across to Lingmoor Fell and beyond.

Wednesday 3rd June I parked near Woodwell, Silverdale and did a circular walk.
This was my lunchtime view from The Cove looking North.

An out of place sign here at Jenny Browns Point, these are normally seen in the Peak District.

Thursday 4th June, I walked up Wansfell, from Troutbeck. This image is looking West from Baystones, I walked along the ridge to Wansfell Pike and back down "The Hundreds" lane.

Friday 5th June, I was in Yorkshire. Whernside from Ribblehead a day of sun and showers.
this is looking South from the summit ridge...

...and this again from the summit ridge after one of the heavy hail showers.

Saturday 6th June and I was back in the Arnside/Silverdale area.
A walk round the coast with the 9.50m tide.

Sunday 7th June, I met Ian (at a social distance) at Greenodd. He was weighing up the tidal action as it passed under the footbridge. He's planning a packraft trip in the Leven estuary.

Monday 8th June an evening walk at Grange-over-Sands, the channel is changing...hopefully it will remove all the Spartina Grass and Grange will get its "Over Sands" back

Today has been a damp, drizzly, dreich kinda day. I walked up Farleton Knott from home...I didn't do it for the view!
I have seen very few people on this last "batch" of walks...most on Whernside perhaps 20 over the 9miles or so. I see more on my late evening weekly shop, and at closer quarters!
In between the walks above has been a fair bit of local cycling from home and some "twitching" at lesser known Osprey Nests here in the South Lakes.
